每年7月22 或23日都係大暑,代表全年最熱嘅日子,傳統智慧話畀大家聽要飲冬瓜湯袪濕消暑。今次同大家分享一個冬瓜荷葉湯,除咗冬瓜同荷葉,仲有土茯苓同蓮蓬,對健脾益胃,消暑去濕、清熱解毒都好有功效。但身體太虛寒人士則不宜飲用。
冬瓜:性涼味甘,具有清熱解毒、利尿消腫、解暑除煩等功效,可用於夏季消暑解渴,以及治療熱病、水腫、痰喘等
荷葉:性涼味甘,具有清熱解毒、利尿消腫、止瀉生津、清心安神等功效
土茯苓:性平味甘,具有利水消腫、健脾益胃、清熱解毒等功效,可用於治療水腫、腹脹、口渴等
食材
- 冬瓜 Water melon 1000克/g
- 土茯苓 Glabrous Greenbrier Rhizome 600克/g
- 新鮮荷葉 Fresh lotus leaf ⅛ 塊/pc
- 蓮蓬 Dried lotus pod 2個/pcs
- 生熟薏米 Raw and fried Job’s tear 80克/80g
- 蜜棗 Canded date 2粒/pcs
- 水 Water 3公升/Liter

生熟薏米及蜜棗洗淨浸水15分鐘 Rinse the mixed Job's tears and dried dates, and soak them in water for 15 minutes.

荷葉煎碎 Cut the lotus leaf into small pieces.

蓮蓬洗淨及剪碎。如用新鮮蓮蓬要除去蓮子。 Rinse the lotus pod. Soak in water for 15 minutes then cut the end and halve. Remove lotus seeds if fresh lotus pod is used.

冬瓜去皮切件 Peel the winter melon and cut it into chunks.

土茯苓洗淨浸水15分鐘 Rinse glabrous greenbrier rhizome and soak in water for 15 minutes.

將所有材料放煲內,加水煲滾 Put all the ingredients into a pot, add water and bring to a boil.

加蓋轉中火煲1.5小時 Cover the pot and simmer over medium heat for 1.5 hours.

酌量加鹽調味 Season with salt to taste.
